I am originally from a little town in the Scottish Borders called Melrose. Rugby is a major part of life in the Borders and my interest in physiotherapy really stemmed from there as I ended up on the other side of the table more times than I can remember! Initially I studied sport & exercise science at Stirling before completing my physiotherapy masters at GCU. I went straight into the NHS whilst also working within the St. Mirren FC academy.
Currently during the week I work in Greenock, based between the acute medical receiving unit and A&E. I also hold a sports massage qualification and am attempting to start my MSc in advanced practice with GCU. I am really looking forward to helping people in the community and making rehab enjoyable, not a chore!
